Whitley Bay and Cullercoats Jubilee Celebrations
The inclusive and collaborative Whitley Bay & Cullercoats Platinum Jubilee Celebrations were the result of a small steering group marshalling support from 1 Women’s Institute, the Newcastle Building Society, 91 Businesses, 14 Scouting and Guiding Units, 4 Care Homes, 13 Schools, 2 Charities and a population in excess of 65K!
The month long event, also saw the planting and dedication of a tree as part of the Queens Green Canopy, picnic and a Jubilee Trail, seeing local children venturing along key streets collecting stamps and winning prizes!
