Work Experience Placements

As a business we are fully committed to helping youngsters experience the workplace before they leave school but 2025 is the last year we will provide work experience to all local high schools.

When a business commits to supporting work experience, it placed a huge burden on that business and it’s team. between 2021 and 2025 we provided over 90 placements per year from our Whitley Bay location. In the last twelve months, we’ve also noted a lack of communication with the schools involved, which has ultimately led to some youngsters missing out on opportunities of a lifetime, visiting trade events etc… As a business we do not want to disappoint anyone, so we have reluctantly taken the decision to dramatically reduce the placements we offer.

We understand this decision may cause some frustration amongst parents, it certainly wasn’t an easy decision for us.

For 2026 we will still be running placements with one partner school. Applications will be handed directly by that school.
